UT-TF1 GM -2020-006
Every year, all members must participate in a Member Readiness Event (MRE) in order to complete several required steps to become/remain deployable. For 2021, due to COVID19 concerns, we are consolidating the in-person portion, increasing the number of dates and times in order to spread people out and putting the task force update presentation into digital/recorded format.
All existing and all new members will be expected to come in for respiratory mask fit testing, gear check and member file/contact information updates. This year’s MRE objectives also include completion of the “MRE 2021” assignment via the ESF9 training portal: (1) “MRE 2021” Task Force update; (2) UTTF1 Deployment Sequence Training; (3) US&R COVID Program Directive December 2020 (includes several documents). A stipend will be paid to rostered members who complete all of the required objectives. (The 2021 MRE stipend will also hinge on whether the member completed the online trainings that were assigned as part of last year’s MRE.)
MREs are scheduled for the following dates, with three sign-up times for each date (0800, 1100, or 1400): January 12, 14, 16, and February 1, 3, 5, 23, 25 and 27. Members only need to attend one date/one session. Location: UT-TF1 Headquarters, 6726 South Navigator Drive in West Jordan, Utah 84084; make sure to check-in at the main entrance.
