Every year, all members must participate in a Member Readiness Event (MRE) to complete several required steps to become/remain deployable. The focus areas for the 2025 MRE include a brief presentation from administrative staff and a member refresher on the general, administrative, and training requirements. Members will also complete a gear check, renew photos (if necessary), and complete a fit test. Members MUST be clean-shaven for fit testing.

Members will be required to attend in person. New members who may be waiting to attend a FEMA certification course are also expected to attend the MRE.

There are two event times for each weekday offering (0900 and 1300). Saturday offerings have only one offered time. Each time slot will accommodate 20 members.

All members must sign up for the MRE using the US&R Member Portal this year. The EMOS system can be accessed through the link below here:

Use the drop-down option to find Training and then choose Training Calendar. Scroll to the dates in January or February to locate the dates available for the MRE. When you click on the date and time of the event you would like to sign up for, it will give you the option to ENROLL to attend. Your username is the primary email address you use for the Task Force. The dates offered are referenced below.

To ensure the health of task force members, please do not attend that day if you have COVID-like symptoms or are otherwise feeling sick; you must reschedule.

 

Because we are limiting the number of attendees for each MRE session, early signup is encouraged. All MRE events will be held at UT-TF1 Headquarters at 6726 South Navigator Drive in West Jordan, Utah 84084.
